Bungarra was formed in 1998 by Andrew West and Rene Seeberger with a focus on action sports and sporting games in general. We are a team of eight developers proudly located in the port city of Fremantle in Western Australia.

The company cut its teeth in a work for hire capacity for an unreleased Electronic Arts project on the PS2, followed by another for Vivendi Universal in 2003. In 2012, the company released it first independent title for the PC via Desura, followed by its first independent title on the PS3 in late 2017. Since 2019 has dedicated its talents to developing its first licensed title, Barton Lynch Pro Surfing.
